who would have thought?

I have never been an artsy person. I couldn't even draw a decent smiley face HA! But since being in art class i have been trying to challenge myself to do some more difficult things. So for our final we had to choose a picture and sketch it with pencil. I picked a flower and here it is

Well as usual nothing is going on with my life. I have a math test tomorrow that is easy and hope i do good on. Wish me luck. And last night we had a basketball game and we lost by 3. We were ahead by so much and then we just let it go. Then while the varsity girls are playing someone from JV is supposed to film the varsity. Well I got signed out and regardless i have already recorded my fair share of 3 or 4 times. But the sophmores are always like freshman this and freshman that and all and all we didnt record the game so tomorrow we have to run. Just great.

Good ole' Monday

Mondays are never any fun. Its the first day after the weekend and the day that really kicks you in the butt. Today went pretty much as normal.
English- homework, write essay due Friday.
Geometry!!!- my favorite but hardest class. not too bad
Biology- yuck had a test today..made an 88
Geography- sooo boring watched the STUPIDEST movie of alll time! I mean I don't usually complain about movies because they get you out of work but this movie was just awful.
Spanish- ooh fun tomorrow i have to recite my whole schedule in Spanish tomorrow....oraly..fun
Art- the easiest class ever. i made a cute snowman out of clay...post pics later
BCIS- oh dont even get me started with this class. Really hate the class and the teacher. ugh i dread 7th period everyday.
Athletics- just cant wait till its over. even though its not hard or anything just not exciting.
Hope your not asleep yet. Sorry my post is so boring i just felt like i should write.

Never ever ever again.

Well you live and learn. I will never ever ever try to make stupid cake balls again. It's the biggest pain in the butt to even make into balls. Oh but that is not even the fun part. Melting chocolate is something I now have NOO desire to do.

The first time we tried to microwave the chocolate. Well after many times of putting in and out of the microwave it became a chunky watery mess. (first attempt failed)

The second time we got a little smarter and did it on the stove top. We waited for about 12 minutes, and it was kinda smooth just not like we wanted it. Well big mistake the longer this stuff gets the chunkier it gets. We kept on waiting and waiting and waiting for it to get smooth and finally just threw in the freaking cake balls. The only one that semi worked was the first one. Then it got so think and hot it just tore the balls apart and the chocolate would not stick. (second attempt FAILED!)

Life lesson of the day:
Never try to make something that involves chocolate and cake in the form of balls. EVER!!!

P.S. and as far as posting pictures go. Not going to happen because only 2 out of 57 turned out and even then they werent how they are supposed to be. grrr

Cake balls

Today i felt adventurous and wanted to make the famous Bakerella cake balls. Its red velvet cake then you cool them and coat them in chocolate. Sounds easy right?? Ha no way Jose. Making them into balls is by far the hardest part. They just break apart and just don't look good so I finally just gave up doing them with my hands and got the cookies scooper. That was much easier but I don't know if the will hold up. They are in the refrigerator right now and i will get them out at 6:30 to dip in chocolate. If they don't rock my socks off I will never ever try to make them again. But we will see how they turn out.
