Ha. Like my twist to jingle bells?? If you cant tell i am so excited its friday!!!! I have taken all of my midterms and the lowest grade was a whoppin 95!!!!! Ohhh ya...but not to brag or anything ;)

Mid-Term week

Just the way to get jolly about the season. MID TERMS. ugh i really hate these they are so stressful and it feels like the teachers are like oh lets see how many questions i can cram into these kids? About each test has about 100 questions. My hardest will be geometry. no doubt about that. Please wish me luck tomorrow because i have BIOLOGY AND ENGLISH AND GEOMETRY. my 3 hardest classes all together in one day....yikes!!

SOOOOOOOOOOO?

Well surprise surprise I'm sick yet AGAIN. With almost the same stuff. I guess its just that time of year. I have a really runny nose and a bad cough. And what really stinks is that next week I HAVE to go to school because we have finals but wed. thur. and fri. i get out at 12:30!! Whoo hoo. and out of my 8 classes I only have to take 4! Cut in half! What a deal. Well wish me luck on the finals next week i will be studying hard so i probably wont write for like a week :(

Latest Basketball game

Last night we had a basketball game and we beat the team by 40 something points. Everyone on the team scored! But I didn't play. I think i have mentioned this but our team is so big that there are 3 girls who rotate playing games so one sits out and tonight was my turn. And this is the one game i really really wanted to play because the other team was horrible and I think i would have had my best game. Oh well. But yes our whole team did great.

a bunch of things

Okay first off we had a basketball game tonight and I can tell you right now that I will NEVER EVER be a basketball player. That is one thing that I am absolutely positive about. I mean I do my best and try hard but I'm just not good. HA oh well it keeps me in shape! :)

And secondly, HAPPY LATE THANKSGIVING!! I hope every one had a good one!

And thirdly, at school the teachers choose about 10 people per grade to be in Teen Leadership and guess what?? I got picked. I am so excited. I haven't ever been picked for that kind of thing! Whoo hoo we have a field trip for it tomorrow, hope its fun!

first basketball game

We had our first basketball game yesterday and guess what???? WE WON! whoo hoo! It was a really close game 36-40. I am really looking forward the season and I hope that I improve! Right now since we have about 15 to 16 girls on our team and won't make a freshman team, the coach made a system to where there are 3 girls who don't play everygame, they just rotate games with each other. Well one of those girls is me. No I am not happy about it but i know i am not one of the stronger players on the team so i understand where he is coming from.

At our game the 2 of the 3 rotating girls played. Me and my team mate Jackie. We both played for about 30 seconds. Its is really frustating. But i guess i have to learn to deal with it and just try to get better every practice. Thats all i can do right??
Well wish me luck on this season so i can get bumped out of the bottom 3!

P.S. I scored 1 point( i was fouled and got to shoot 2 free throws and made 1!) I have to say thats darn good for only playing for about 30 seconds how bout you? hehe

nothing new

* i have nothing interesting to write about...surprised. HA! But i do have to say that I think it was last post that i said that i was starting to get sick, well ya i got sick got well for about 5 days then got the same exact thing again... ugh it was so horrible i missed first period because I wanted to sleep then i woke up and i was fine...until the advil wore off then i started feeling yucky again.
Another thing, we started basketball last week and we had our first scrimmage last night and we won!! whoo hoo i think we are really gonna have a good team this year. The only bad thing is we have a whopping 20 people on our team and we can't make a freshman team because no other towns have a freshman team. UGH!! I am 3rd string currently. which i am okay with. I am only doing basketball so i wont have to do track. I don't really get into basketball as much as volleyball.
So wish our team luck!!

update

First off on Saturday me, mom, Cheri, and Joseph went to La Cantera for my birthday shopping day! It was so much fun and i know how this must sound but i really dont mean it in a mean way but it was so nice not to have Kendall and Jett with us. That was the first Carey and mom time we have had in a looooong time!

And on Sunday Rick was going to go skidiving. He has wanted to do it for as long as i can remember. Well he got suited up and everything then they put everyone on a weather hold. (which was no fun for me because i am sick right now.) Well we finally gave up and Rick got a certificate to come back whenever he wanted.

And like i said i am sick right now with i dont know what. Its kind of like a harsh cold. My body is so achy and one minute im hot and the next im cold. Fever which seems to never go away. I dont want to miss school because the amount of homework and daily work we do would kill me the next day so might as well toughen up and go. But today we ended up taking a benchmark that took of 5 of my 8 periods which was WONDERFUL!! so i didnt have any homework! YAYAY

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Today was my 15th birthday!!! It was really good(except for the fact i had school)=( oh well school wasnt to bad at least. But I am really glad that I am 15 because now I can get my permit! Yay i really am ready to drive even though everyone says it gets old. I dont care! Happy birthday to me haha

Jett's 2nd trip to the ER

Poor Jett is right now on the way to SA to the ER room. Friday evening he fell and did some damage to his mouth and chin. My mom took him to the dentist today and he said that the swelling would go down in a couple of days. Well ever since it happened the swelling has been getting worse and worse. The doctor at the ER last time told my mom to clean the inside of his lip with half water and half hydrogen peroxide. So she did the paper towel was a red pussy color. (I know its really gross) =( So my mom is now on her way to San Antonio to see what the doctor says. I will give updates tomorrow! Pray for my Jett to have a speedy recovery!

Practice makes perfect

Volleyball practice went as usual. Run Run Run. Practice Practice Practice.. I think that I did okay today I had some bad passes and some good passes. mostly good though! I hope our team starts working as a team and we all improve. Pray for us! =)

A walk through my oh so interesting day HA!!

6:30 BEEP BEEP BEEP my annoying alarm clock decides to wake me up. 6:40 my mom is in my room telling me to get up or turning on my light. 6:45 im up fixing my hair, doing makeup, etc.
8:00 School bell rings and time to go to 1st period (ELA) probably one of my hardest classes! 2nd period (Pre-AP Geometry) one of my favorite classes! I just love math and especially my teacher, the amazing Mrs. Deason!
3rd period (biology) YUCK! I have never liked science. Ever Ever EVER but that better change if I want to be a nurse..maybe it will just click for me one day...heres hoping =)
4th period (World Geography) EASY as pie! Its so easy its kind of boring but the teacher is pretty cool and probably one of the coolest teachers EVER!
5th period (Spanish) my hardest subject for sure! I mean its not really hard but I just dont have any desire to learn spanish. My mom dosent know like any and she turned out okay! That what I have to say about Espanol..but again like the teacher!
YAYY my favorite part of the day LUNCH! Even the food this year isnt too too bad...I eat pizza most every day.
6th period (Art I) Again love love love the teacher...Mrs. K. Ugh but she is moving to Korea during Christmas break because her husband is being transferred..=( We just got finished this really cool sculpture!
7th period (BCIS) Its a computer buisness class which is really cool. You learn all the shortcuts and cool stuff like that.
8th period (Athletics) Well lately 2:45 to 5:00 has been a nightmare...I absolutley love volleyball with a passion but im not getting any better and the coach had to change the team around because I was making to many mistakes at the setting position. Now I am back row (which I like much better) but still am not improving. We have a game tomorrow.
Homework time...my worst part of the day. Most days I have at least 1 hour of homework to do.
Showertime- this usually is at least a 45 minute process. wash my face, brush my teeth, shower, etc.
By now its about 9:00 and time for "me" time. Watching TV.
10:00 Its bedtime!
Wake up and do it all over again for the next four years of my life. Oh the JOY =) Im hangin in there though

Its baaaack

I am in my blog background changing phase! Remember when I said I just LOVE this new background and I'm not going to change it. Well the other background was a little to springy and not fally sooo I figured it would be a very appropriate time to change it...so what do you think? Love it, hate it, don't care?? HA I have a feeling that most of you are the 3rd choice. Fair warning for a lot of changing in the future....=)

A few things

First of all yesterday night Jett used the potty!!!!!! yay We were all so excited and he was pretty excited himself. So for doing such a good job daddy gets to take Jett to the dollar store to pick out a new bang bang (play gun) =)

I had a volleyball tournament yesterday and we played 3 matches and won one. We didn't place or anything but thats okay because we did "okay" i guess...Our coach made a few changes in the rotation so I am backrow instead of setter now...which i LOVE!

I dont really have much of anything to talk about but i hadent wrote in like a week so i thought that was a good enough reason hehe =)

Weekend.....Over??

UGH! I can't believe that the weekend is pretty much over! =( But time flies when you are having fun right? Last night some family went to Shorty's! (my all time favorite steakhouse!) It was soo delicious! Well thats all thats new! Short and sweet!

School is.....

School is many things. So far school has been overall BUSY! It feels like im going non stop and I have not adjusted. I wake up at 6:30 get ready go to school till 3:30 then volleyball practice till 5:00 usually then get home take my sweaty clothes off and cool down, then its time to eat. And it never fails i have a ton of homework to do so im usually doing that till about 8:30 and dont forget the games in addition to homework. ugh... School is also fun. You get to see all of your freinds.! As you can tell there is more bad than good hahahaha but overall its okay.

Things I have been waiting and waiting for!

Well number 1 WE WON VOLLEYBALL GAME! Yesss finally! I am so happy! We have lost about the last 5 or 6 games that we played, so this is really good for us! It was a close 3 games. It seemed like every singe stressful part in the game it was my turn to serve. But i did alright and overall our team did good!
And number 2 I get my braces off I get my braces off!!! I had an orthodontist appointment today and he said everything looks good and i will be getting them off in 24 days! You dont even know how excited I am!

what to write about?? hmm

I am completely out of things to write about but I still feel like writing in my blog. Sooo what do I write about? Well for the last 2 days I guess me and my mom have been looking at different things to do my room in. I am kinda tired of the stuff i have now. We found one at pbteen.com and it was soo cute but we both realized it was to busy and i would get tired of it to fast so this morning my mom found the cutest duvet. it is whit with black and lavender flowers..I love it. It will probably be my X-mas gift. Im excited!

Well my first week of high school is over..thank goodness! So far it has been okay im just not used to anything yet. For example, laptops (and no it cant be normal it has to be a mac) ugh, and the new building, being with so many new people, and new classes. So heres hopeing for next week! wish me luck please!

First Day of High School

Well today I went to high school. It was okay, I think it will be really hard for me once the actual work starts but I hope i will be okay. The only class I felt comfortable in was my pre-AP geometry because I have had the same teacher for the last two years and I LOVE her! So wish me luck for tomorrow and the rest of the year! =)

if you know me at all you know that i loooove to shop! well yesterday Me Kendall Jett and mom went to san marcus outlet mall and it was soo much fun...I got a purse at nine west and i am in love with it.haha the best part is it was CLEARANCE! and i also got 2 tees for school and a little fleece hoodie..Kendall and Jett on the other hand got A LOT! i think they are both set for summer fall and winter..! Kendall got the cutest nike tennis shoes at the nike outlet. Poor little Jett couldnt get his huge fat foot into the nike shoe so then we walked down to the converse outlet and Jett couldnt even get his big toe into one of them tiny shoes. So we went to Stride Right and the nice lady measured Jett's foot and he wears a 9 1/2 EXTRA WIDE! His foot is bigger that Kendalls. So we got him 2 cute pair of tennis shoes that were both on sale for 19.99! Did we hit the jackpot or what?? =)

The last trip for the summer was so much fun!! We stayed in our camper and The Stones from Brownwood stayed in their camper too...one day aunt Molly uncle Robert Bobby Andy and Jenny came and stayed the day and then Ricks co-worker Scotty came with his little boy Dalton..we are all having a blast!

Well we are getting ready to go on our last vacation for the summer =( We are going to Canyon Lake with mike and Gwen ..and one day aunt molly and uncle robert will come over! but anyway i cant beleive that summer is pretty much over. it feels like yesterday i was graduating from 8th grade! its sad...im going to miss sleeping late =)

2 a days are a bundle of JOY

Well for the last 2 days i have had 2 a days (4 hours of workout broken into 2 parts) I must admit yesterday I had a hard time but today i think i did really good in volleyball and the conditioning. I played setter today and it was fun! =) We have a scrimmage Friday and Saturday and our first game is Monday!! Can't wat! Wish me luck please =)

Super Mom!

As you can tell this post will be all about my amazing mother. Honestly, she couldn't get any better! =) Shes the one I can ALWAYS talk to. God had an amazing idea to give me her. haha She makes me happy and content with my life. When she walks into a room you can feel her warm heart and she is always wearing a smile on her face. I love her more than she can imagine. But my mom does more than just being a great mother to me, she is also a fantastic mother to my little siblings, Kendall and Jett. She is a beautiful person inside and out. I love you mom with all of my heart and always will!

Man am I tired!

Today was another busy day. Woke up at 8:00 and got ready to go to Schlitterbahn and stayed there till about 4. The craziest thing happened..........IT RAINED! haha I know I'm shocked too. we got rained out. We had a really good time though! And it was so HILARIOUS as we were leaving Schlitterbahn we drove past a girl in her car just picking her nose like no one in the world was watching. I know how stupid that must sound to you but it was sooo funny. Even Morgan tried to take a picture. haha! =)

I am so proud of myself! Yesterday and today I ran for 10 minutes in the morning. I like to run just because after im done i feel acomplished! And then tired but it evens itself out..haha =)

ugh.....

i feel like a rollie pollie! I just ate myself sick. My mom promised me she would make my favorite meal before i leave for my dads for a week and i requested enchiladas. And like the great mother that she is she woke up and started making them at 8:00 in the morning. I ate 3 cheese enchiladas and now im regreting it...so now im back to the ugh...=) lol

Upcoming Events

Well lets start with last week. Last Monday we went to the beach and stayed for 5 days. We all had a blast! But...the WHOLE month of July I have been bounced around the whole state of Texas. Laredo, San Antonio, Port Aransas, Stockdale, to name a few...(well okay not the whole state) =) But now I am home for the first time in a long long time and I am so glad. Okay now to move onto the future! Tomorrow I will be going to my dads house in San Antonio for a week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are going to be my catch up days. I am going to wake up and go run for at least 10 minutes and I also have a summer assignment to read Farienheit 451, write an essay, and do a project. I have already read it but i read it over a 2 month time frame so i think i should read it quicker this time around. And then Thursday my dad is taking off work to come to San Antonio to take me and my stepsister, Morgan, to schlitterbahn. Teri, my stepmom, is also going to take off work and join us. So that will be really really fun! My dad is also taking Friday off to spend more time with me before August starts and I start my fun ole 2 a days! WHOO HOO! Then during the weekend we will just relax at the house, maybe do some yard work. So there is my schedule for a week...yes its very busy but hopefully in August things will slow down and get back to normal!
